You’re probably quite familiar with the aesthetics of ancient civilizations by now. This game has a background with a pyramid set against a golden sky. It's nice, but there's very little going on.

The game's icons are quite detailed and include a tiger and a toucan, both of which were believed to be integral to Mayan culture.

The soundtrack, like those of most Aztec themed slots, is actually quite good. It features a bouncy beat that fits well with the overall scene and some sound effects that complement rather than overwhelm.

How to Play Hidden Kingdom

1. On the bottom left side of the screen, there are three dots that will open a menu if you click on them. Use this to view the paytable using the i icon.

2. If you wish to play the game in autoplay mode, use the circular button to the right of the main central Spin button to adjust the number of spins you want to play. Alternatively, you can use the Turbo button to the right.

3. To adjust your total bet amount, you can use the stacked coins icon to the left of the main Spin button to adjust your amount to anywhere between 0.1 and 2000.

Our Verdict

This Aztec themed slot won’t win any prizes for originality. Although it boasts a solid set of features, there’s nothing that elevates it above the rest of the many Aztec slots out there.

However, there are no real weaknesses in the gameplay, the graphics, the soundtrack or the features. It should be noted that the RTP is subject to opinion, however, and there is no guidance on volatility. Yes, the max theoretical win is fairly low, but getting five scatters is by no means unachievable.
