Max the Winner is one of the slots created by game maker Swintt. The base game is presented on a simple 5x3 grid which has ten bet ways. These pay left to right when three or more matching winning symbols come up. A gamble feature is available after a win.

When three or more examples of the scatter symbol appear anywhere on the reels the player is awarded five feature games. During these games the squirrel collects coin symbols which land on it and then scatter symbols which you will see in a meter to the right. When the meter is filled the squirrel increases in size.

Theme

You might think squirrels are small and cute, but this one can reach gigantic proportions and gather coins and scattered acorns. The reels sit against a woodland backdrop with a pile of acorns which can prove productive.

Symbols

The winning symbols are fellow inhabitants of the wood and include beautifully coloured woodpeckers, ladybirds and a budgie.

How to Play Max the Winner

1. Set your bet in the bet window in the bottom right of the screen. The minimum is 0.10.


2. Now click on the menu button in the far left bottom corner and then “Help” to open the rules of the game.


3. Now return to menu and click “pay table” to open a new set of screens, which begin with a pay table reflecting your bet rather than displaying a win multiplier for each symbol.

Gamble Feature

After a winning spin in the base game players can opt to gamble their win in a simple card game. Choose the correct colour of a downward-facing card to double up. Players can risk a win up to ten times in this sequence.

Feature games

Three or more scatter symbols trigger five bonus games, but one scatter symbol can randomly trigger the feature. During this phase the squirrel begins sized 1x1 and collects any coin which lands on it. It then collects acorn scatters and adds them to a meter to the right. Once the meter is filled it increases the size of the squirrel for the next spin. Each time the squirrel grows additional feature games are added. The number of additional spins is set in the order 1, 3, 2 and 1.

Nothing much to report here apart from the growing squirrel. However, the symbols are well designed and colourful.
