Theme, graphics and soundtrack

Against a purple, button-tufted background, a gold-framed grid decorated with cats’ bells houses three pale blue reels with ridiculously cute images of cats. To the left, the five jackpots are listed. The music sounds like a cartoon soundtrack. The cats occasionally make cute movements, and that’s it. It’s really not a look that grabbed us and seems rather inappropriate for a gambling game.

How to play Posh Cats

1. Click the coins symbol to open the settings menu for your bets and adjust the figure using the plus and minus buttons.
2. Click the smaller spin button, which is the control button for auto play mode, to open the auto play menu. Select a number of autoplays from a choice of 25, 50, 75 or 100. You can also set your preferred limit for a single win and a maximum loss. When either of these limits is reached, auto play will end and you will be returned to playing manually.
3. Press autoplay a second time to exit the mode whenever you wish.

Posh Cats review: our verdict

Concerns about the age-inappropriate design aside, this is a fairly tame slot. The jackpots are good to have, but the game play is very limited and the RTP is not generous. We’re not convinced this is a game to appeal to a wide audience.
