In this beautifully designed game from Nucleus Gaming we join the eponymous Ruby Jade on her search for valuable gemstones in a deep mine illuminated by her hand-held flaming torch.

The game is played on a 7x7 reel set packed with glittering symbols.

As in many of the games in this designer’s collection, there are no winning lines, and the player gains cash rewards by landing clusters of matching symbols. When this occurs, the symbols explode and vacate the reels, and new symbols cascade downwards to fill the gaps.

Theme, Graphics & Soundtrack 

We are deep in the bowels of the Earth accompanying our eponymous heroine as she searches for riches.

The graphics are cartoon-style, and the reel set is framed by two strange trees at the entrance to the cave. Ruby Jade stands to the left, looking optimistic and holding her flickering torch, and the green light coming from deep underground lures us into the game.

The symbols drop down the reels and, when winning clusters form, they explode and gold coins flow into the player’s account.

The soundtrack is a gentle tune featuring strings and woodwind instruments and encourages us to put our best foot forward.
