Shaman Song Slot Review

Shaman Song is one of the slots created by Red Rake Gaming. It transports us into the world of the Native Americans and their fascinating culture, led by the mystic Shaman.

The base game opens on six reels with just three rows, but these can expand to ten rows creating one million pay lines which pay left to right when at least three of the ten winning symbols land on consecutive reels from the left to right. Wins are also created by the presence of the wild. New rows open on consecutive wins, and if the same winning symbols are involved, they will continue to grow.

There are three gem meters, and when a new row is opened you move one space on the purple meter and one of the others, and if corresponding gem symbols appear, you move one space on the matching meter.

The triple gem symbol moves players one space on each meter. All meters re-set once a winning sequence ends. However, if you fill a meter, you will trigger ten free spins. Each gem has a special feature to carry forward, and more than one can apply. There is a win multiplier in play.

 The Shaman’s Drum is a scatter symbol which triggers a mini game with more examples of a win multiplier and special reels.

Free Spins

Player win ten free spins when one of the gem meters is filled. Here three features can combine depending on how many gem meters are filled. When the purple gem participates two random symbols are added, and their wins have a win multiplier of x3.

If the green gem plays a part, two random symbols can create wins even if they are not on adjacent reels. Finally, the blue gem means four rather than three rows are revealed before a spin. If all ten rows are revealed in free spins, the entire total win is multiplied by x2. This win multiplier increases by one each time the full ten rows are unlocked.

Shaman Drum Mini-game

Three Shaman Drums launch a mini-game. Reels 1, 2, 5 and 6 reveal symbols. The two other reels combine into one, and a symbol and multiplier are added. All examples of the symbol elsewhere on the grid change into a multiplier. They will then be combined to create a giant multiplier. All wins are a multiple of this and the bet.
