Harking back to the golden age of the New York Mafia, this game has a retro Art-Deco style. The brown reels have gold ornate detailing with the game's name, The Family, along the top. Symbols include a map of Italy, a bottle of chianti, a diamond ring, a pizza, a classic car, a cigar, briefcase of gold, a newspaper and three men you wouldn’t want to meet down a dark alley. How to Play The Family

1. Before you start, players must choose a Bet Per Line and also the number of lines they want to play. 
2. Locate the menu button to the top left of the reels and hit Change Bet.
3. Use the pop-up screen to choose from 1 to 30 paylines, a coin denomination of 0.02 to 1.00 and a bet per line of 1-5. 
4. These will be multiplied to give a total bet that ranges from 0.02 (1 line x 0.02 x 1) to 150 (30 lines x 1.00 x 5).
5. From the same function screen, choose to autoplay between 1 and 1000 automated spins with various stop options. 
6. From here you can also set the game to quick-spin and view the paytable.
7. Once you’re ready, close the menu down to return to the reels.
8. Hit the spin button to the right of the reels when you are ready to go.

The Family Bonus Features

Jackpot

The Jackpot pays out when you land five Gangster with Cigar symbols on a payline, and only when you are making the maximum bet. The jackpot can only be won in the base game. 

Sneaky Instant Win

Watch out for the Sneaky Gangster (the one in glasses). If he appears to the left or the right of the briefcase, you will be awarded Instant Bonus Credits. 

Free Mob Spins

The Free Spins feature is triggered if the Old Gangster (the one with a hat) appears to the left or right of a gun symbol. You will be awarded between three and 10 free spins with a multiplier of x1, x2 or x3. 

Underboss Scatter

The Fat Gangster is your humble Scatter. When he appears three or more times anywhere on the reels, he turns other symbols into Scatters and pays out big time. 

Bonus Game

The Gangster with Cigar symbol can also lead you to the Bonus Game. If he lands three or more times on an active payline, it triggers the exciting pick bonus feature. Choose between the dodgy business deals for wins. At the end of the feature all wins will be added and awarded. 

Overall The Family Review

An excellent game with a stylish Art Deco design and a not-very-scary mob theme. Whilst these old-fashioned mobsters are not going to scare you, they may help you reach some pretty amazing wins without the need to enter any rackets or dodgy deals!
