Wild Pharaoh is a very good-looking game, with colourful reels built from suitably ancient-looking sandstone sitting in front of what looks like a very dusty and washed out Sphinx and the pyramids of Giza.

Symbols are easily told apart, and winning symbols animate briefly, showing you which symbols have achieved you the win when you have had a successful spin. Reel spins are smooth, with a satisfying recoil when they stop.

Sound effects are well designed, but in keeping with many other modern games, it can be difficult to hear what would be otherwise a fairly enjoyable piece of background music over the reel and win effects. The opportunity to adjust these volume levels or mute background music or sound effects would have been welcomed, but unfortunately, the sound options are either all sounds on or all sounds off.

How to Play Wild Pharaoh

1. It is a great idea to check out the paytable when you first load any game. To find the paytable in Wild Pharaoh, click the 'i' icon in the bottom left of the reels. The paytable shows you how much you can win when matching winning combinations on the reels, as well as detailing how the bonus feature and paylines work.
