Balloon Race Overview

Balloon Race is an interesting slot from Evolution that manages to combine a traditional slot alongside a live-action game show that takes the player into a hot air balloon race soaring above the clouds. How to Play Balloon Race

Qualification Phase

The qualification phase plays like a regular slot game on five reels, and the aim is to land scatters or expanded wilds. A set of three will take you through, and wins on the ten paylines are paid out. Multipliers collected on the scatters are accumulated and stored for use later in the game.

Top-Up Phase

This is an optional phase of the game. The object is to improve multipliers, but there is no guarantee of success. If a released balloon reaches the top, it will add its multiplier to the same coloured multiplier there. Look out for the plane at the end, which can add more multipliers.

Bonus Game

The bonus game is a real-time live hot air balloon race in which 80 coloured balls are released by the host: yellow, purple, green, and red, with 20 balls of each colour. These drive the respective balloons of the same colour. The object is to be the first to reach the top after five passages. Each balloon has a different multiplier waiting at the top of the screen.

As a coloured ball is drawn, the corresponding balloon ascends one step. Once a balloon wins, all multipliers are calculated together.
