Understanding the come out roll

There are three different scenarios that could occur when the dice is rolled following the placing of a pass line bet:

One roll bets

Multi-roll bet

The second bet type is the multi-roll wager. Multi-roll wagers are bets that remain on the table for multiple rolls of the dice and can only be resolved when a losing roll of the dice occurs. Multi-roll bets can only be placed at certain points throughout the game, so let's look at these scenarios in a bit more detail:

Come out roll when the puck is off

A pass line wager is one of the most popular live Craps bets, so you can expect to see many players placing this type of bet.

Rolling a 7 or an 11 is what will need to happen to secure a win, whereas rolling a 2, 3, or 12 will result in a loss. In the event that the dice rolls a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10, the point will be established.

Alternatively, you can put forward a don't pass bet, which is essentially the opposite. With this bet, rolling a 2 or 3 will result in a win. Once again, rolling a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10 will establish the point.

Available during point roll when the puck is on

With a come wager, a 1:1 win will be unlocked when rolling a 7 or 11. Rolling a 2, 3, or 12 will result in a loss; if any other number lands, the point will be established.

The don't come wager is the opposite, so you will win if you land a 2 or 3 on the first roll that occurs after the bet is placed. You will push if the dice rolls a 12, and you will lose if a 7 or 11 lands.

Other bets that can be wagered here include:

• Odds: which can be wagered when the point is established.
• Take odds pass line/come: will pay out if a 7 is rolled.
• Lay odds don't pass/don't come: will also pay out if a 7 is rolled.

Available anytime when the puck is on or off
