Introduction

Travel back to the early 20th century to enjoy a cabaret set in the 1920s Prohibition era with this unusually laid-out slot. It has eight reels with the first and last stacked six symbols high, while reels 2 to 7 are mini 3x3 layouts stacked vertically which spin independently of one another. While your bet is calculated on 40 fixed paylines, the layout actually has 60, giving an extra 20 lines to play for free. Theme, Graphics & Soundtrack 

The background piano soundtrack sets the scene with the reels centre stage, surrounded by velvet red curtains and huge feathers. Set off by the dim lighting, the symbols depict playing-card suit shaped gems found in jewellery, a pair of ladies' evening shoes, a perfume pump bottle, a top hat, a chandelier, male and female cabaret performers and a showgirl. Most win animations are understated except for the Wild, when the showgirl floats across the entire reel set suspended in her ring.

Encore Feature

The Encore is a random feature that is triggered after a win in the base game of 5x or more. During the Encore feature, 2x your win is awarded. Encores can also appear in the Free Spins round.

Wild Copy 

If a full Wild stack appears on reel 1, it is copied to reel 8 and vice versa. Wilds can then fall anywhere on reels 2-7 (except on Scatter symbols), turning them Wild.

Free Spin Bonus

Three, four, five or six Bonus scatters landing on reels 2-7 will trigger the Free Spins bonus, awarding 8, 10, 12 or 15 Free Spins respectively. Pick from one of three settings - Free Spins with frequent Encores, Free Spins with reels 1 and 8 Wild, or Free Spins with frequent Wild and Encore features.

Cabaret Royale Review

There's a great deal going on with Cabaret Royale, not least because of its unusual reel set-up, incredible wild feature and random Encores. It doesn't take long to get used to the reels and the order in which they fall in, and the hit rate plus the variety of features keep it interesting.
