Introduction
As the name suggests, Chicken Drop, by Pragmatic Play, is a slightly different take from the usual adventurous themes often to be found in online slots. The farmyard-themed slot uses its own unique blend of bonus and multiplier features, and all in all, offers a pretty unique play experience.
Themes, Graphics and Soundtrack
In line with its farmland theme, the slots feature bright, cheerful colours, set out in an open farm scenery. A lush field with mountains in the distance and a distinctive red barn make up the background, while an overhanging tree shades the grid slots.
Chicken Drop RTP and Volatility
Chicken Drop has an RTP of 96.5%. This is well within the industry average, and generally speaking, anything north of 96 is a pretty good rate.
As for volatility, Chicken Drop has a 5 out of 5 rating. A high risk/high reward situation definitely makes this game more suitable for players who have a big more money to spend.

How to Play Chicken Drop
The slots are played on a 7x7 grid. Minimum bets start at 0.20, while maximum stakes are capped at 100 per spin.
Each spin requires lining up symbols in winning clusters. Five or more symbols are required to make a cluster.
Cascades and Tumbles
The tumble feature is engaged when a winning combo is made, removing winning symbols from the game. The empty grids are replaced by new symbols, and the cycle repeats when a new combo is made on this turn.
Upgrade Features
These particular features are activated when certain symbols land at the end of a tumble sequence.
- Size Upgrade: when a watering can symbol lands, this will cause the size of the next egg symbol to grow to 2x2 to 3x3 to 4x4 to 5x5 and finally to 6x6.
- Multiplier Upgrade: when a four-leaf clover lands, the multiplier that is applied to the win caused by the egg symbol increases. It starts at x2 and can increase to x11.
Now, onto the egg symbol we’ve been mentioning. When it lands, it creates a cluster of matching symbols and the size of the cluster depends on the Size Upgrade as mentioned above.

Free Spins
The free spins bonus is triggered by landing 4, 5 or 6 scatter symbols. When it is activated, all upgrades triggered during the base game are carried over.
Even better, each spin also guarantees that an egg symbol will land. You can also retrigger the bonus by landing four more scatters; 5 free spins will be added to your total.
Chicken Drop Slot Review
Chicken Drop does have a rather refreshing take on online slots, and it seems to deliver. The collection of bonus features is unique and effective in multiplying winnings, so there’s lots to look forward to when playing.
Complex Gameplay
The main drawback of this slot is that its rules are a little bit complicated. Even reading the paytable doesn’t really clarifying things, and you just have to trigger the features to really understand the features.
Is It Worth A Spin?
We’d recommend Chicken Drop for more patient slot fans. Players who prefer to jump right away will probably want to play a slot with a simpler format.
