Theme, Graphics & Soundtrack

Inspired by all things Mexican, the reels of this slot sit under the shade of a colourful awning in the middle of a cactus-filled desert under a bright blue sky. Strings of chilies hang to either side of the reels, and a bubbling pot is balanced on top. Symbols include red and green chilies, a red hot wild splatter, a hot sauce wild, a piñata, a set of maracas, a Mexican sombrero, a guitar and a decorated skull. Additional symbols include decorated A, K, Q and J in bright colours.

How to Play Chili Eruption Thundershots

1. On the loading screen, press Continue to start the game. 
2. Use the Help button for information on the paytable and game rules. Win amounts shown in the paytable are related to the current bet amount. 
3. To adjust your bet, press the + or - underneath the total bet number. This amount represents the bet per spin. 
4. To speed up the reel animations, press the turbo mode button. Some of the winning animations and sound effects will be disabled during turbo mode.
5. To use autoplay, touch the autoplay button. This will give you a choice of automatic spins. While free games are in play, you can win extra free games, with the green chili awarding 1 and the red chili awarding 2. Saucy super spins are not triggered during free games.

Saucy Super Spins

During the base game, any chilis that land will be added to the cooking pot on top of the reels, giving you the chance of the pot erupting. If the pot erupts, you'll be granted 5 Saucy Super Spins.

The thundershots feature is triggered in the same way as the saucy super spins. What we liked about Chili Eruption Thundershots is the exciting way the saucy super spins and free games features can be combined through the thundershots feature. There's huge potential for some entertaining bonus play. We were unable to trigger anything during our test run, which we found disappointing. Fortunately, there are plenty of other Playtech demo slots to choose from. If you're looking specifically for a food themed slot, Big Time Gaming's Extra Chilli slot with its Megaways mechanic and cascading feature is well worth a look.
