Introduction

There are 10 regular symbols: Rainbow and Pot of Gold, Toadstool, Top Hat, Leprechaun’s Boot and the highest 6 playing cards. The wild is a four-leafed clover, and there is also a Free Spins Scatter symbol.

Theme, graphics and soundtrack

This is a slot game drawing unashamedly on the stereotypes of Irish folklore, so at least they’ve done it with gusto. There are no actual leprechauns, but there is just about everything else you could imagine, including the music. How to play Clover Tale

1. All prizes are for combinations of identical symbols, with the smallest number being 3. Winning combinations are those that begin on the far left and extend to the right on adjacent reels. Scatters are an exception to this restriction and pay in any position.
2. Only the highest win on each line will pay out. For example, if you land 5 identical symbols, you only get paid for the 5, not for the 4 and the 3 that make up the 5.
3. Click on the lines box to change the number of paylines and on the bet box to change the bet level.
4. Click on the Start button or press the space bar to start. You may press the stop button or the space bar to halt the reels.
5. If you want to use continuous play, click on Auto. Unlike most video slots, whether they are no deposit slots or those on which you are betting, you can’t choose the number of auto spins or use any advanced limit settings. Clicking Auto will simply start automatic play, which will continue until you cancel it.

As far as no deposit slots and paid slots go, this is a very simple game. With a simple free spins bonus, no gamble feature, no buy bonus, and no bonus game, it won’t set the gaming world alight, but it’s good, unpretentious fun and a decent little slot game.
