Pistols, Poker and Coins

How to Play Cowboy Coins

How to Win at Cowboy Coins

Cowboy Coins has six reels with four rows on the middle four while reels 1 and 6 have three rows. Wins are achieved when three or more winning symbols land in any position on consecutive reels, starting from the leftmost reel. In total, there are 2,304 ways to win. The paytable wins are relatively low in the base game, with the cigar smoking cowboy paying 10x your bet for six of a kind. 

Coin symbols appear in the base game but will only pay out if they land with the Safe or Money Sack special symbols. They land with a win multiplier value of up to 9x.

Bonus Wins

Bigger wins can be achieved on the respins bonus, where the win multiplier bonus on individual coin symbols can be boosted to as much as 50x.

Cowboy Coins Bonus Features

Land three or more scatters in rows 2, 3, 4 or 5 to trigger the respins bonus. Two horizontal reels are added above and below the four middle reels. The bonus round starts with an initial three respins, with three coins taking the scatter symbol positions. All the positions spin individually. If a new symbol lands, the number of respins re-sets to three. 

Special Symbols

The four reels surrounding the main reels have three positions each, and each has their own special symbols that boost the wins in different ways. They are:

• Money sack - Lands with a random value which is added to each of the existing coins in the middle.
• Safe - Lands with a random value and collects the value of each existing coin.
• Horseshoe - Lands with a random value and collects up to 30 times the value of one random coin.
• Dynamite - Selects between two and five coins and doubles their value.

Each of these special symbols can only perform their function once, but there are Super versions of these symbols which will repeat their function on every respin, even if no extra coins land.

If you buy a bonus, you can select which special symbol lands on the first respin. A normal bonus costs 100x bet, while the four special bonuses cost 500x. 

The bonus round ends when no more coins or special symbols have landed for three consecutive respins or when the total win reaches 30,000x.

The Cowboy Coins slot is stunning to look at, with a respins feature that's been taken to the next level. The buy bonus lets you experience every nuance of the feature. The demo version we played has some glitches, though: the volatility level shown on the intro screen and the rule pages didn't match, and the game often froze during the respins round. Once these problems are ironed out, we think this will be an exciting slot to play.
