Crystal Vault has a classic adventure theme involving an intrepid explorer who has journeyed to a lost world full of ancient creatures, including dinosaurs and saber-toothed tigers. It is a good update of the explorer slot game theme and different from the Aztec- and Ancient Egypt-themed games out there. It is well-presented, with strong graphics and an imaginative background setting of mountains, temples, and jungle. Bright colours and smooth gameplay add to the playing experience.

How to play Crystal Vault

Before you start playing the Crystal Vault online slot, here is a quick overview of the main features:

1. The game has standard 5x3 reels and payouts are awarded for matching combinations of at least three symbols from left to right across the screen. You can check out all the game information by opening the slot menu.
2. Set your stake by pressing the coin symbol to open the betting menu.
3. Use the spin button to get the game started; alternatively, press the autoplay button to play automatically. If you choose the latter option, you can set a number of spins or a win and loss limit.

Crystal Vault offers players an impressive number of bonus features, including several different wild symbols that act as traditional wilds and have multipliers attached during the bonus respins round. Feeling wild

The wild dinosaur symbols appear on the middle three reels only. The basic dinosaur wild can substitute for all other symbols apart from the scatter and the wild multipliers to help you land more winning combinations. 

There are two multiplier wilds, one with a value of 2x and one with a value of 3x. They only appear during the bonus respins round: the 2x multiplier when reel screen two is unlocked and the 3x multiplier when reel screen three is unlocked (more on this below).

Bonus respins

Landing at least three scatter symbols triggers eight bonus respins. In the base game, the bonus symbols can appear anywhere on the reels; during the respins, they will only appear on reels two and four. More respins can be retriggered if you land another two scatters on your reels.

During the respins round, you will see additional game boards as you progress. On the second screen, the 2x wild multiplier will appear for all the respins. The 3x wild multiplier appears on the third screen, providing potential wins of up to 27x.
