Overall Review

Play’n GO is known for creating innovative and interesting slots and it’s sad that Disco Diamonds just doesn’t fit in with the rest of the studio’s offering. On top of the lacklustre theme, the bonus rounds don’t offer up all that much in terms of excitement – unless you manage to combine them.

The respins feature is triggered often. However, it’s very rare that you’ll get a decent-sized win out of it. The free spins round is much more elusive, and it’s also a bit disappointing if you can’t land one of the higher free spins totals (7 or more). If you only get 5, you don’t really have enough time to retrigger the Disco Respin and build those multipliers.

Then again, you’re lucky enough to trigger one of the more generous free spins rounds, there is some impressive winning potential to be had. You really do have the opportunity to activate some Disco Respins and build your multipliers up – but this is still quite difficult to do.

So, Disco Diamonds isn’t the most entertaining Play’n GO slots we’ve tried, there are some good moments to enjoy. This game is certainly geared more towards more classic slot fans, so it’s something to keep in mind if you’re looking for a more outside-of-the-box experience.
