Electric Wilds RTP (Payout) & Volatility
The RTP of a game is important to know, as it gives a great insight into the potential returns players can expect from a gaming session. Also known as the Return To Player ratio, the statistic shows the sum of money spent playing the game that is eventually returned back to the players. But note that this is players, plural, so it should never be used as any kind of guarantee of returns. The statistic is arrived at by following studies of numerous players over an extended period of play, so although in theory players will receive back 96.17 for every 100 spent on spinning the reels, some players will experience major wins, giving a much higher return. Other players, on the other hand, may fail to win back all of their stake, so the RTP should only ever be used as a guide.
This game is low volatility.
How to Play Electric Wilds Slots
We’re pretty confident that you won’t have come across anything quite like Electric Wilds before. The game positively sizzles with electrical energy, from the pylons that form the background to the playing area, which features pylons and electric cables, through to the game’s title, which fizzes and buzzes with electrical charges.
The reels are laid out in a 3x3 format, but within that layout, each place on the reels is self-contained, so the reels never spin as a whole. Instead, each section of the matrix spins within its own space, uncovering poker card symbols, orange, green and purple electrical tubes, a robot mask and a wild icon. But although each space on the matrix spins independently, the traditional format still applies when calculating winning lines.
The five paylines are fixed, so the player’s only decision is how much to stake per spin. The smallest sum that can be wagered is £0.10.
When you’re happy with your bet, just tap or click on the Spin button to get the game started.
How To Win at Electric Wilds Slot
The aim of Electric Wilds is to achieve three matching symbols across one of the game’s five paylines. This isn’t as easy as it sounds, but there’s a highly useful wild symbol, which can double up as any one of the other symbols on the reels, so it can often lead to a win, even when you seem to lack sufficient icons at first glance.
Electric Wilds Bonus Features & Free Spins
There aren’t any scatters, which are usually the icons that herald any free spins - and in fact, Electric Wilds doesn’t offer any free spins at all.
The Lightning Overprint feature gives a chance to score a win with every spin when these useful icons appear. You’ll see a separate 3x3 matrix just to the right-hand side of the reels, which collects the Lightning Overprints whenever they occur on the reels. Following every spin, lightning symbols are randomly allocated to the bottom right-hand corner of symbols on the main playing area. These are then electrically transported across to the corresponding place on the lightning matrix, where they can award a wild. To do this, you need to acquire a complete line of symbols on the lightning matrix, either vertically, horizontally or diagonally. Whenever this happens, a wild is awarded for each completed line. If you turn your attention to the area below the lightning matrix, you’ll see a round window, which will scroll through all the symbol options on the reels, choosing one to become wild. Any instances of the chosen symbol on the main playing area will then turn wild, which can lead to wins. The more lines you achieve in the lighting matrix, the more symbols that will turn wild.
You’ll notice that some lightning symbols on the lightning matrix clear following a spin, whilst others remain in place for a further spin. This is completely random, with 50% of lightning symbols staying in place for the next spin, after which they are extinguished.
There’s also a a Super Lightning Overprint to keep a lookout for. Although this icon is almost exactly the same as the standard lightning symbol, it’s coloured red instead of green, indicating that it’s more powerful. Whenever this symbol lands on the reels, once it’s transported across to the lightning matrix, it splits into several symbols, which are highly likely to trigger one or more wild symbols.
Finally, there’s the Repeater Bonus, which replaces the free spins feature that players have come to expect from their slots games. This is triggered whenever the player manages to attain a single symbol across all of the reels, although this can be achieved by the help of wilds too. At this point, you’ll be awarded a cash prize, which you take with you to the Repeater Bonus screen. Here, you are presented with a set of five electrical tubes, one of which is broken. The electricity passes across the tubes and comes to rest on one tube. If that tube is the broken one, then the Repeater Bonus ends, and you take your winnings that led to the bonus round. But if the electricity lands on one of the other, complete, tubes, then you’re awarded the same amount again as the sum that triggered the round, effectively doubling that win. The tube then breaks, and you are invited to try again. This round can be repeated up to four times, with the potential to quadruple the win that triggered the bonus. Should the electricity land on a broken tube at any time, then you are returned to the base game, along with your winnings.
