Theme, Graphics & Soundtrack

It is a spooky Halloween night, and in the background of the main screen we can see a full moon and a witch on a broomstick flying over a spooky house. All the symbols are designed in a cartoon style, reflecting the kind of costumes trick-or-treaters may be wearing on the streets and the candy they are seeking.

The only soundtrack is the sound of the reels spinning, but when a winning line is hit, we get a spine-chilling short burst of music.

Haunted Hallows Review

It is difficult to know how to describe and rate this slot, but it is best described as a fun game. Having said that, the Halloween theme of this slot reveals a terrifying truth: the RTP is frighteningly low at 90.74%.

The game is stripped back with a 3x3 reel and just nine pay lines. It can be pared back even further since the pay lines are adjustable. The good news is that the player has the option of a wide betting range from 0.01 to 5.00, and so bigger wins are always available if you are brave enough to risk a big stake.

One positive is that the high volatility means there are passages of the game which can be rewarding.

This game will not appeal to all, but perhaps it is a good introduction for novice players.
