Theme, Graphics & Soundtrack 

Inspired by European medieval artwork, the reels in this online video slot are set against a backdrop of carved stonework framing pictures of knights on horseback and soldiers and footmen in armour. Framed in gold, symbols represent people of various occupations in colourful medieval garb, including a king, a bishop being crowned by priests, noblemen, knights slaying mythical creatures and soldiers training and fighting. While the artwork itself looks great, the reel spinning animation has a peculiarity where you can see the next set of symbols landing before the reel-spin animation starts, and there's an odd, semi-transparent background animation which runs to fast to identify what it is and distracts the eye from the reels.

In theory, Medieval Slots could be a great slot to play, promising a free spins round featuring multipliers plus an additional bonus in the base game. The artwork is extremely detailed and colourful, and the symbols are separated with a neat golden edge. 

Unfortunately we were not able to experience the game's full potential in our test run, partly because the game's rules and features were incomplete, and especially as the slot crashed each time the scatters landed to trigger the free spins. As a result, we were unable to experience or review the free spins feature and properly review the bonus and multiplier features. Our recommendation would be to avoid this slot altogether and look for other online slots, such as Elk Studios Buffalo Toro slot, at least until the full game rules for Medieval Slots are published and the glitches are fixed.
