The aesthetic is dark and eerie, with quality cartoon-style graphics that are rendered with accurate detail. The backdrop is an outdoor scene with brooding grey skies and rain. What we find really sets this slot apart are the animated symbols and tentacles that move and squirm continually, not just for winning combinations being scored. It makes the slot feel alive and all even more creepy.

A light but ghoulish soundtrack accompanies gameplay, with the odd scream thrown in to make the blood run cold. The 2D cartoon style may take away a little of the horror, but it also makes it more entertaining and quirky.

We enjoy the malevolent and mysterious forces within this slot, even if its cartoon graphics edge it toward cute rather than horrifying. It’s brought to life with the animations and it makes for novel gameplay.

Granted, the 95.3% RTP is a bit disappointing, but given the higher variance and max 100 coin bet, it’s one that may appeal to the higher rollers, even if the max win isn’t as high as you’d hope for with a highly volatile slot.
