Another ocean-based game, with a Sea Dragon, a Coliseum . . . and a Vase. No, we don’t know why, either!

CT Gaming first appeared in the guise of Casino Technology back in 1999 with the distinction of being the first game author to be licensed in Bulgaria. Its initial title release was Mega Jack. The firm has since grown to have offices and distributors in over fifteen countries. The rebrand to CT Gaming occurred in 2019.

Theme, Graphics & Soundtrack

Aside from some game sound effects - the usual reel clicks and whirs - there’s very little by the way of sound in the game. Which, if you have played a CT Gaming title before, will not come as a surprise. Yes, there is a short start-up jingle but going forward you will only hear this if you let the game go idle. It has nothing to do with the ocean. In fact, it sounds rather like something you might hear on an Aztec themed title.

There are some oddly chosen sonic whooshes if you win. Not the kind that whales can hear, either. As is often the case with CT Gaming, things are sometimes mismatched in this game. 

The graphics are bright, mostly blue-based, and nothing wildly jarring but also not very high resolution or groundbreaking. They are high contrast, however, which should help with accessibility and playing the game in night mode.

Overall, try not to expect too much in terms of sound and aesthetics, or you will likely be disappointed.

How to Play Ocean Legends

1. You can click the blue i button which is found in the top left corner of the page in order to review the win amounts for every different combination.
2. To start playing in autoplay mode, you can click the green settings icon which you will find at the bottom left of the page. This allows you to adjust the AUTOPLAY settings via the + and - buttons.
3. Right at the bottom centre of the page you will see the total bet amount displayed. Once again, there is the option to adjust this by selecting and clicking on the green settings icon, at the bottom left. Wild Sea Dragon

The Wild Sea Dragon is the game’s wild symbol and will appear on reels two, three, four and five only. It can substitute for all other symbols in the game apart from the Scatter to create winning combinations.

Scatter Coliseum

Our Verdict    

Sea-life slots (https://www.slotstemple.com/slots-by-theme/sea-life/) often use the cast of characters in imaginative ways and provide a host of features to divert from base gameplay. Not this time.

Unfortunately, there is very little to distinguish between CT Gaming’s titles other than the artwork hastily pasted over their standard game infrastructure. 

There are at least a Wild, a Scatter and some Free Spins in this particular game. The Free Spins are awarded with three or more Scatters and you’ll retrigger at the same value if you manage to find more again. With the RTP at the top end of average, hopefully this will tip the balance in your favour in terms of getting some of those winning combinations.

With medium volatility, it’s always going to be a struggle to keep things interesting and this is where features really come into their own. It’s disappointing that so many developers fail to realise this.
