How to Play

For all its ferocity, the game is simple to play and easy to understand, so it’s suitable even for newbies just as long as they are brave enough to face up to the orcs. The opening screen leads you underground to a volcanic cavern littered with the bones of those who have tried, and failed, to beat the orcs in previous battles and skirmishes. This is where the battle will take place, but first you need to make sure that you are ready and prepared for what lies ahead.

Decide on your virtual stake, and input it using the ‘+’ and ‘-‘ buttons towards the bottom left-hand side of the console. The game uses 50 fixed paylines, so there are no variables that allow you to alter the number, which minimises the choices you need to make. Simply hit the Spin button to set the reels spinning as the orcs come lumbering out of their cavern to attempt to beat their enemies to a pulp.

Wins accumulate when three or more symbols occur on adjacent reels, starting with the reel to the left-hand side of the playing screen. A clearly marked wild is able to substitute for any other symbol on the reels, apart from the scatter, to increase your chances of winning. Look out for the scatter, which acts as a multiplier and can trigger a bonus round if three or more of the symbols appear on the reels. Labelled Orcs Battle, three of these scatters trigger a series of free spins, during which the orcs batter any wilds that appear, to ensure that they remain on the reels for the remainder of the bonus round.
