Introduction

Sin isn’t a subject that crops up very often in online slots. Admittedly we’ve played Seven Deadly Sins and the Sin City Nights slot, but Sin Reels takes the slots fan in a very different direction - prepare to enter a haunted graveyard under the light of a full moon!

Graphics & Soundtrack

You won’t need to leave the lights on for this horror-themed slot, as it’s very much a cartoon-style game. Fun graphics and engaging animations keep the tone light, and even the sounds aren’t intended to convey too much of a scary vibe. There are some cool extra touches too - bats fly across the screen, and all of the playing card icons are depicted as gravestones, which we found highly entertaining.

The RTP of 96.77% is above average for an online slot, making Sin Reels a tempting proposition. But play it for free before risking any of your own money on the game. How to Play Sin Reels

Promatic have a real knack for creating simple interfaces for their slots games. So even if you’re not an experienced gamer you can get right down to having some spooky fun playing Sin Reels!

1 Set the amount of your bet using the controls at the bottom left of the screen.

2 Check the game’s paytable, which is dynamic so it shows actual cash payouts based on your current stake. You’ll find it through the Settings menu to the far left of your console.

3 Press the central Spin button to start your game. For multiple spins use Autoplay - there’s a button to the right of spin, and you can also access the feature via the Settings menu. The optional Gamble feature remains active during Free Spins, but is only available for a second following any win. If you enjoy the double-or-nothing option it’s best to keep your finger ready over the Spin button to trigger the Gamble when it lands

Sin Reels Bonus Features & Free Spins

The bat is the Wild symbol in Sin Reels, although Promatic prefer to label it as the Joker. But whatever you like to call it, it can substitute for any of the other icons in the game, apart from the Death Scatter and the Skull. So every appearance on the reels could result in a winning combination.

If you love a free spins feature - and who doesn’t? - you’ll need to land three or more of the Death Scatters in any position on the reels. As Scatters they don’t have to conform to the usual payline rules.

The Skull symbol has no purpose during the base game, but during the Free Spins bonus round it awards a 2x Multiplier to any wins that occur alongside it on the reels.

Lots of online slots games include an optional Gamble feature, as it adds some extra risk for those who enjoy it. Usually it’s based around the colour or suit of a playing card, but Promatic like to put their own twist on these things. So if you choose the double-or-nothing gamble option, you’ll find yourself in a damp and dark crypt, with torches flaming to light the gloom. Four coffins are stacked up against the wall, and you’re tasked with picking one. If your chosen coffin contains a coin your win is doubled, but if it’s empty you lose.

You can Gamble any win under 100.00, and can continue to gamble for up to 10 consecutive guesses. One of those guesses can be based on wagering just half of the win amount, as long as it’s more than 2.00 in value.

Overall Review

We can’t get enough of Promatic free play slots. Even when the gameplay seems relatively simple the games themselves are always packed with detail. Sin Reels is the perfect slot for Halloween, but it’s so much fun to play that we’d happily play it at any time of the year. The generous Free Spins bonus round, together with the random Multiplier feature can lead to some decent cash payouts. Just be sure to experiment with the game for free before you even consider using your own money to spin the reels.
