Introduction to Spin Island

With a backdrop of a clear blue ocean and a sandy beach, the sky moves through sunrise to midday to sunset (depending on how long you’ve been playing the game. Guide to playing Spin Island

1.    You can play on normal play or auto play. If you opt for auto play, you can choose the number of spins in various increments from 5 to 100.

2.    The maximum win is 1000 times your bet.

3.    You can bet from 0.20 in increments up to 2.00. You can change your bet by clicking on the Total Bet button at the bottom of the screen.

4.    The Rafting Wild and Wild Fire symbols can substitute for all the basic symbols. These are both wild symbols. The symbols are a bonfire and a raft, respectively.

5.    If you get the Wild Fire symbol on reel 5, you will get four re-spins. Sparks can trigger additional free spins known as Sticky Wilds.

6.    If the Rafting Wild symbol lands on reels 1 and 5, as well as getting four free spins, a storm starts over the island. Rain pours down as the Rafting Wilds (which, incidentally, are facing in different directions, so it makes it look as though the storm is moving them) move into the centre before moving apart again. If they are on the same row, they join as one prior to separating again.

7.    If you get three or more of the Free Spins symbol together (depicted by a circle with ‘Spin Island’ written in the middle), you get an instant win. A Mini is 20 times your bet, a Minor is 50 times your bet and a Major is 500 times your bet.

8.    The Free Spins symbol, depicted by a flare gun, will trigger 15 free spins if you get three of them on reels 1, 3 and 5. This symbol is also known as the Scatter symbol.

9.    Finally, the All Chase symbol is depicted by an oblong shape containing a heart, club, diamond or spade. Whilst in the free spins rounds, the card symbol will change to one of the four highest-paying symbols.

Our Verdict of Spin Island

We really enjoyed playing Spin Island. We liked the graphics (especially the change of day to night), and the soundtrack was pleasant enough to leave on while we played. There were few enough symbols to enable us to remember what they all meant and enough to give the game a bit of a challenge.

What we particularly enjoyed, though, was that there were a number of things to look out for. There are several ways to win, and that makes the game more challenging and fun. The Rafting Wilds were our favourite feature; we loved that the weather changed and the sky darkened. You could almost believe that you were on the island, getting soaked. We actually felt cold while playing this part of the game! We think you will enjoy playing Spin Island as it’s one of the best of this type of game around.
