Fire Joker, Joker Millions, Respin Joker, Joker Fortune, Joker Spin - the abundance of joker-themed online slots games show that there’s a huge appetite for them amongst players. Some Joker slots, such as The Dark Joker Rizes, are clearly based on the Batman-inspired character. But the majority of them are based on the idea of the Joker from a deck of playing cards.
When playing card games, the Joker often acts as a Wild or Trump card, so it has great value. And that’s certainly the case with Sticky Joker. Not only is the cheeky character the game’s Wild substitution symbol, but it also triggers all of the bonus features in the game too.
Graphics & Soundtrack
As we’ve come to expect from Play’n GO, the graphics and sounds that feature on Sticky Joker are absolutely top quality. This is a developer that knows exactly what players want in their online slots games, and it always delivers.
Fruit themes can often make a game look dated, but that’s certainly not the case here! Plums, grapes, cherries and lemons really do look good enough to eat. And the fun Joker character is nicely animated too. The soundtrack manages to be relaxing for most of the time, occasionally reaching new heights when the reel-spinning action really gets going.
RTP & Volatility
Sticky Joker has a variable RTP according to where you play the game. It tends to be around 94.67%, but we advise double-checking before wagering any of your own money on the outcome of any spin. It’s a medium-volatility game, so it’s suitable for most gamers. However, we advise playing this game for free in the first instance, as it gives you the best idea of what to expect from a session playing at an online casino.
How to Play Sticky Joker
1 Start your gaming session by deciding how much you’d like to wager on every spin. Your options are laid out across the bottom of your screen - scroll through them all using the buttons to either side.
2 The Spin button, which starts your game, is located just below the third reel.
3 An Autoplay button is located just to the right of Spin. This lets you select up to 100 automatic spins at your current bet level.
4 Game settings and the paytable are located at the bottom left-hand corner of your screen.
Bet Sizes & Paytable Wins
There’s a betting point to suit every type of player on the reels of Sticky Joker. Play from just 0.05 up to a maximum of 100.00 per spin.
You’ll need to match up three symbols on one of the five paylines to achieve a win. Cash prizes are multiplied by the amount of your bet, as follows:
Plums, grapes, cherries, lemons = 1x
Stars, Bars = 2x
Lucky 7 = 5x
Sticky Joker = 8x
The Sticky Joker himself is the key to the biggest payouts, as well as to the bonus features of the game.
Sticky Joker Wild
As the game’s Wild symbol, the Sticky Joker can stand in for any of the other symbols. And that means he can generate one or more winning lines every time he appears.
Sticky Joker Respins
Every time a Sticky Joker lands on the reels, a free Respin is generated. And if that Respin spins up another Sticky Joker, a further Respin is awarded, during which all Sticky Jokers remain fixed in position. The Respins keep occurring for every new Sticky Joker that appears. The round only ends when no new Sticky Jokers have appeared on the final Respin.
Wheel of Multipliers Bonus
Whenever four or more Sticky Jokers are fixed to the reels by the end of a Respin series, the Wheel of Multipliers is launched. The Wheel is filled with Multiplier options ranging from 2x to 10x. This Multiplier is then applied to all your wins throughout the Respins that triggered the Wheel of Multipliers Bonus.
Although we’re not usually too excited by three-reel slots, we have to admit we were impressed by Sticky Joker. The range of bonus features is really quite exceptional for this type of game - we particularly liked the Wheel of Multipliers, which multiplies Respin wins by as much as 10x. The game looks appealing and it’s great fun to play too. It just goes to show that even classic, retro-themed games can be given a thoroughly modern twist.
