Introduction 

Nuclear Gaming takes us to a mediaeval village dominated by a fierce ogre. He scares the villagers, but players may find him a little friendlier as he helps them to some big rewards.

The game is played on 5x3 reels that generate 25 paylines paying from left to right. There are wild symbols that spread across the reels and two bonus phases triggered by three-row symbols on the centre reel in the shape of the sun and the moon. 

In the day mode, a flowering wild spreads to replace up to three symbols and create a bunch of wilds. The eponymous ogre randomly smashes stone symbols with his club, enabling cascading symbols to fall into vacant spaces.

In the night mode, the king and queen - the top-value symbols - appear alongside a joker, which carries a 2x wild multiplier.

There is another wild in the base game, which substitutes for all symbols apart from the sun and the moon, and there are ten paying symbols in this phase. In order of value, these are an emerald, the ogre, a bowl of gems, a bowl of coins, a club, a mushroom, and four stone playing card symbols. Finally, there is a gamble feature.

Theme, graphics & soundtrack 

This fairytale-themed slot combines the ogre with a king and queen and their court jester as the main characters. This is a richly designed game with images worthy of a Pixel movie. The reels sit inside a twisted gilded frame, with the regular symbols standing out for the quality of their design. 

The ogre towers over the village to the right of the reels and randomly springs into action to smash stone symbols with his club.
