Theme, Graphics & Soundtrack

Oriental slots games are always colourful, and Wealth Palace is no exception. The background is a deep purple colour, with reels set within a red and gold frame, topped off with a green pagoda-style roof on which the game’s title is displayed.

Jade, gold, copper and bronze are the colours that feature on the playing card symbols. They represent the lowest-value icons in the game, with more colours being added for higher-value symbols. These include the traditional Chinese gold ingot, or sycee, as well as a blue fan and a red lantern. The God of Prosperity himself serves as the game’s Wild and, fittingly, he also pays out the highest cash rewardsin the game too.

A suitably Oriental soundtrack plays out in the background. It’s accompanied by some clashing cymbals and synthesiser trills, but we have to say we found it incredibly repetitive. Backing tracks to these sorts of games are very much a matter of personal taste. Vela Gaming are well aware of this and have placed a mute button just to the left of the game, so you don’t have to go looking for it!

RTP & Volatility

When new games from Asia make their way across to Western websites, they often lack some of the important statistical data. And in the case of Wealth Palace, there is currently no information concerning the game’s RTP or volatility.

Bet from just 0.01 per line, or per spin if you choose to play with one single payline. Maximum stakes are capped at 30.00 per spin.

Maximum payouts for landing matching symbols across an active payline are as follows - with payouts based on your bet per line:

Jack, Queen = between 3x and 50x

King, Ace = between 5x and 200x

Blue fan = between 5x and 500x

All other symbols pay out cash prizes for landing just two examples on an active payline.

Box of firecrackers = between 2x and 300x

Red lantern = between 2x and 300x

Jade charm = between 5x and 1,000x

Gold ingots - between 5x and 5,000x

The Wild symbol appears on all five reels, despite the rules saying that it only appears on the central three. Even landing just one Wild will win double your stake, rising to the top game payout worth 10,000x your stake for landing five of a kind.

The Scatter is a traditional Chinese coin. Landing two or more in any position on the reels will win you up to 100x your total bet.

Bonus Features

As well as paying out the highest rewards in the game, the Wild in Wealth Palace can also substitute for every other symbol apart from the Scatter.

Wealth Palace Overall Review

Wealth Palace is a well-put-together game with the potential to deliver some big cash prizes. But the lack of a bonus feature round meant we soon tired of playing it. For our money we’d rather spend time playing Prosperity Palace online slots. Having said that, if you’re looking for an easy and relaxing game that doesn’t require too much concentration, this could be just the game you’ve been looking for!
