Western Reels review: our verdict

This is quite a slick-looking slot that definitely looks back at the days of traditional land-based casinos - so much so that the theme seems almost incidental. Apart from the sheriff’s badge spin button and what we presume are meant to be saloon doors, it is hard to find many links to the title. It is also hard to spot much steampunk styling, despite the fact that the maker promises this in its description of the game. This may not matter to you if you enjoy the simple spinning action of the game and the small selection of bonuses on offer. The RTP is average, although the high volatility won’t be a good choice if you are a more risk-averse type of spinner.
