Introduction

As the name suggests, Atlantis Rising is set beneath the sea looking at the lost city of Atlantis. This title is very well designed, with the reel animations, wild bubbles and wild blasts looking fantastic. 

The reel animations are smooth, while the win animations are not flashy but show precisely where wins have been achieved. This is very useful when there are 25 paylines.

How to play Atlantis Rising

1. It is always a good idea to take a look at the paytable when playing a game for the first time. The paytable in Atlantis Rising is found by clicking the three-line menu button to the bottom-right of the reels, then clicking the ‘i’ icon that appears. The paytable shows how much can be won when winning combinations appear on the reels and details of the bonus features and payline patterns.
2. Set your bet by clicking the poker chip to the bottom-left of the reels. This brings up the bet menu, enabling you to cycle through the betting options by clicking the - and + buttons that flank the total bet displayed.
3. To spin the reels once, click the spin button that appears to the right of the reels.

Rising Wilds can hit any position on the reels during any spin and move up one position on the reels on each spin. 2x rising wilds multiply each win they help to make by two. These can appear on any spin.

Wild blast

If a compass lands behind a rising wild, it triggers a wild blast. The wild blast makes all adjacent positions - up to nine of them - into either wilds or 2x wilds. These wilds do not move into the next spin. 

Free spins

Matching three or more trident bonus symbols triggers the free spin bonus. Free spins begin with the bubble pick feature - by choosing bubbles, you select extra bubble picks or the number of free spins you begin with. Each bubble can award between one and five free spins or two or three extra bubble picks. All free spins are played at the same level of bet as the spin that triggered them.

This is a great-looking game with a range of engaging features. The wild blasts can be particularly lucrative. The low-medium volatility looks more on the low side given the win amounts on offer, and whilst up to 100 free spins can be won, these do not come around very often.
