The reels look just like the kind you would find on a real machine. Wins are accompanied by simple illumination of the winning line and a virtual stream of coins. There is no soundtrack, just plain sound effects as the reels spin and stop.

Clearly, this is all done by choice, but it does make for a slightly joyless experience.

How to play Big Runner Deluxe

Free spins

Land three, four or five star symbols anywhere on the reels to win five free spins. Free spins are played on the same reels and lines as the base game and cannot be retriggered. Wild symbols

Gamble

Big Runner Deluxe really doesn’t add anything to the plethora of slot games that attempt to bring the fruit machine back into favour. Others have done it with more invention; however, if you are a bit of a purist, you may find something here to hold your interest.
