Head out on the highway and take your chopper down Route 66 to play a game filled with themed bonuses including a multi level Highway feature. The five reels offer 20 paylines and a medium volatility, while the game's RTP of 95.92% is relatively decent.

Introduction

Get your motor running with this recently released slot machine game from makers Ainsworth. Bringing us a taste of the great American highway, the five reel, three row game grid features all of the accessories you need to be part of an outlaw motorbike club. Wins are scored by matching symbols across the reels, starting from the left, while a multi level bonus round and plenty of free spins are sure to rev things up! You can read our whole Eagle Rider slot review to find out more, but if you feel like taking Eagle Rider for a test drive, you can play this and other Ainsworth demo slots for free here at Slots Temple.

Graphics & Theme

Building on the popularity of TV shows such as Sons of Anarchy, the Eagle Rider online slot is based around the motorbike life. It's a bit more of a niche design choice than, say, the bright graphics and colours of Blueprint Gaming's Fishin Frenzy free slot. Game symbols here include helmets, bald eagles, chunky motorbike rings, and a Harley Davidson. The game is set in a western American town, where a dive bar called the Eagle flashes a neon sign and sparks fly from the garage. If you’re a fan of American themed video slots, you should love this, but the graphics and design are not the best we’ve seen from Ainsworth.

Eagle Rider

Eagle Rider RTP and Variance

Eagle Rider has a medium volatility so players can expect to see a mix of smaller and medium sized wins landing on your reels. It has an RTP of 95.92% which is just below the average rate most slot games players would expect.

How to Play Eagle Rider

  2. Set your opening stake in the game by pressing the coin symbol to open the betting menu. You can also set the maximum bet automatically.

Bet Sizes & Paytable Wins

The betting range in Eagle Rider is good, with stakes available between 1 and 50 so most regular slot games players should find a stake to suit them. It offers the usual mixture of higher paying themed game symbols and lower paying non-themed symbols. The highest paying base symbol is the motorcycle helmet, which offers a top win of 5x. The playing card symbols are the lowest paying, and all offer a top win of 2.5x.

The maximum win in the game is 1000x which is on the smaller side of slot game jackpots.

Eagle Rider Bonus Features

Eagle Rider offers players one main bonus, the Highways feature, which is a multi-level free spins round with increasing multipliers. As with many slot machine games, the bonus round is triggered by the scatter, which also pays out anywhere on the screen. The game also has a cheeky wild symbol (who blows you kisses when she appears!) which can land on reels 3, 4, and 5 and will substitute for all other game tiles apart from the scatter.

Highway Feature

Landing three scatter symbols triggers the Highway feature, a multi level bonus round. You’ll start on the Desert Road stage with four free spins. The screen will fill with different symbols, giving you the chance to score a 1x, 2x, 3x, or 5x multiplier. The next stage is the Mountain Road, giving you access to larger multipliers (2x, 3x, 5x, or 8x), which is activated by landing a special Mountain Road symbol. The final bonus stage is the Coast Road, where you’ll see 3x, 5x, 8x, or 10x multipliers. On the last spin in the bonus, you even have the chance to win up to 20x

If you see a gas station pump symbol appear anytime during the bonus rounds, your number of free spins will reset to four.

Eagle Rider Review

If you’re looking for a slot machine to pass some time, then this is a good option, but we're sorry to say there’s not much memorable about Eagle Rider. The graphics are a bit weak, especially compared to other video slots, and the bonus features are not exciting enough or frequent enough to make you want to keep playing. But, if you fancy giving it a try and judging for yourself, you can visit Slots Temple to play this and lots of other video slots.

FAQs

Does Eagle Rider have a free spins bonus?

Yes, the bonus rounds are triggered by landing at least the scatter symbols, taking you to the first round of three possible bonuses. You’ll get four free spins to start with and these can be retriggered when you see a special gas pump symbol during any of the bonus rounds.

What is the RTP of Eagle Rider?

Eagle Rider has an RTP rate of 95.92%. This is just below the average rate of 96%-96.5% which most slot games offer, so seasoned players might feel this is a little underwhelming. It’s not unusual for Ainsworth slots though, which can veer between rates of 96%, 95%, and even 94%.

What is the highest paying symbol in Eagle Rider?

The top prizes in Eagle Rider come from the game’s scatter symbol, a fiery bald eagle. This not only triggers the bonus rounds, but pays out between 1x (when you land a combo of three symbols) and 50x the multiplier (for the maximum combination of five symbols on a payline).
