Here at Slots Temple we’re massive fans of the Ancient Greeks theme. As well as coming up with the concept of democracy, the Greeks knew a thing or two about myths and legends, and they developed a complex series of tales about their pantheon of gods and goddesses.

Soundtrack

In the background you can hear the sounds of heavy work going on, including the sounds of heavy hammering on metal - perhaps it’s Hephaestus, the blacksmith of the gods, working deep inside a volcano. Small glowing embers float around in the sky surrounding Kronos, indicating that something hot and heavy is going on nearby. But there’s no time to worry about what that might be, as there are some reels to spin!

Game Layout

What struck us immediately about the game was the layout of the grid. Most online slots games feature a 5x3 matrix, but for Kronos Unleashed the designers decided upon a much more unusual 5x8 layout. Along with the playing area’s smaller than usual size, this could have created a cluttered and uncomfortable look, but WMS have managed to give the game a clear and fresh feeling, that invites the player in. It’s a mark of the graphics team’s skills that the much smaller than usual symbols still manage to look highly detailed, with no loss of definition.
