The story behind the game

Nemo is the cute and optimistic character from the film Finding Nemo, who has a pretty overbearing father. Fed up with his father’s overprotective approach to parenting, Nemo decides to set off on a voyage of discovery that leads to a whole host of unplanned adventures.

The little clownfish starts out by being taken from his home in the Great Barrier Reef and it is up to his father, Marlin, and regal blue tang Dory to find him and make sure he is safe.

Along the way, the characters are beset by a series of mishaps and encounters with jellyfish, sharks and other hazards. Luckily, they are reunited in the end, with Nemo proving himself and his father relaxing his strict outlook.

Game features and play

With stakes to choose for both experienced and new slots players, the game has a number of features, including the chance to gain greater prizes for landing hammerhead sharks, giant squid and whale symbols when they show up on the reel.

Adding to the excitement, every spin of the wheel moves the pressure indicator, which is located inside Captain Nemo’s submarine Nautilus. As the pressure indicator increases, so do the opportunities to win a series of bonus games, including clumped wilds, wilds and pressure wilds.

The game features a wild, wild two x, wild three x, pressure wild, clumped wild, and wild reel symbols that can replace any icon apart from the bonus. The bonus can only appear on reels one, three and five, and line pays occur on adjacent reels starting with the reel on the left-hand side.

The highest winner is paid per winning combination; in addition, you can alter the total bet to reset the Nautilus to the highest depth of the meter and the needle in the pressure gauge all the way to the left. As the Nautilus moves down, each spin furthers its descent.

The submarine will carry on moving upwards until it hits a ‘lock’. When it reaches the lock, the next spin will move it onwards once again. By moving past, you change the wild feature to the one associated with the depth meter at the time.
