Graphics & Theme

As we said, the theme of this game is the Slavic celebration of the night of Ivan Kupala, which honours the Summer Solstice and the traditional birth of the Summer sun. As part of the celebrations, huge bonfires are built which people leap over as a demonstration of courage and faith, purging themselves of sin and ensuring good luck for the year. Young women also prepare wreaths of flowers and candles and gather ferns (according to folklore Kupala is the only night of the year when ferns bloom) to ensure good luck in relationships.
