Introduction

Lucky Streaks is an unusual take on 3 reel slots online, with some very unique features. It’s simple, but it’s very cool to play!

Theme, Graphics & Soundtrack

Classic fruit symbols, bars, bells and 7s spin up on individual sets of reels against a plain red background. The only thing that spoiled the simplicity of it all was the soundtrack. A jazzy ambient backing track is interspersed with bells and whistles and the sound of the reels landing - it all got a bit hectic for us, until we muted the sounds!

Lucky Streaks RTP & Volatility

The RTP of 95% for Lucky Streak isn’t the best we’ve seen, but it’s a long way from being the worst either. We haven’t been able to track down any game volatility details, so it’s best to play this game in demo mode, even if you’re planning on wagering real cash eventually. Playing for free gives you plenty of time to see how the game plays out over a gaming session - but without risking any of your own cash in the process.

How to Play Lucky Streak

The first thing you’ll notice is how basic the Lucky Streak slots game looks. But just follow our guide to get you up and running really quickly.

1. Your only task, before spinning the reels, is to decide on your wager. Use the ‘+’ and ‘-‘ buttons underneath the reels to set your stake per game. This will be multiplied across each of the ten games.

2. Hit the big Spin button to start your game.

You can play Lucky Streaks from 0.20 to 30.00 per game. That’s a range that has something to offer for every type of slots gaming fan, although high-rollers might not be drawn in. There might be 10 different games playing out all at once, but the goal of each one is exactly the same - to match up three symbols across the payline.

There are seven reel symbols during the base game, paying out the following rewards, shown as a multiple of your stake. But the rewards are based on your bet per game, not your total stake. So you won’t actually be making any progress from matching up symbols on just one slot until you land three bunches of grapes in a row:

Lemons = 2x

Orange slices = 5x

Bunch of grapes = 10x

Watermelon = 20x

Liberty bells = 50x

Lucky red 7s = 100x

Progress through the base game with seven consecutive wins, and you’ll play your next seven games on the Jackpot reels. Now the lower-value fruit symbols disappear, so the paytable starts with the bunches of grapes. The watermelons are replaced by slightly higher-paying rainbows, while at the top end of the paytable the 7s vanish from the reels completely. They are replaced by a black single Bar and the top-paying red double Bar symbol. Now every win guarantees that you at least win your stake back - and quite possibly some much bigger payouts too!

Lucky Streaks Jackpot game

Unusually for an online slots game, there are no Wilds or Scatters to be found on the reels of Lucky Streaks. So you won’t find any Free Spin bonus rounds, and unless you land three exact matches across a payline, a win can’t be achieved. That might disturb modern-day slots fans, who always keep a close watch out for added-value features along with their slots gaming. But it certainly makes the game very simple and easy to understand and play.

There’s one single bonus feature to the game. During the base game, every winning combination on a set of reels lights up one of the game’s logo letters. Your goal is to light up all seven letters in the word STREAKS, so you’ll need seven consecutive wins. Once you fail to land a win, the lights all go out and you start again from the beginning. But once all seven letters are alight, the game enters Jackpot mode. Symbols on the reels change, with higher-paying icons coming into play.

This may be the Jackpot round, but it’s by no means free to play. You still have to pay for every spin, but every winning payline now guarantees your stake back at the bare minimum. Hit multiple winning combinations with one spin and you’re well ahead of the game in every sense of the word!

There aren’t really any bonus symbols at all, unless you count the rainbow, which crops up on the reels once you hit the Jackpot game. But it doesn’t award any Free Spins, although it does prolong the Jackpot possibilities for a little while longer. Three rainbows will reset the Jackpot Game Counter back to seven, so you’ll get more chances to spin up bigger cash prizes.

Overall Review

We’re always delighted to review 1x2 Gaming slots, because they’re always such fun to play. And we really liked Lucky Streaks for its sheer simplicity. It’s the complete opposite of games such as the Mystery Reels Megaways slot. The only thing that really jarred for us was the music, but that was easily sorted. If you like playing three-reel classic-style games, this one is well worth a spin.
