Go Bananas MultiMax is one of the slots created by Yggdrasil Gaming. The base game is presented on 5x3 reels that create 243 paylines thanks to the MultiMax mechanic. These paylines pay from left to right in the base game and both ways in the free spins when three matching winning symbols appear on consecutive reels from the triggering reel.

Symbols include a bomb symbol in losing free spins and a wild. A scatter symbol appears on the centre reels but only in the base game. It triggers eight free games when three land. 

The game has an avalanche mechanism that replaces winning combinations. Each time it does so, a wild is added to the grid at random before the tumble begins to fill the other places.
