Theme, graphics and soundtrack

Hills and a remote house covered in snow, flakes falling, the full moon in the sky, a frozen river, and a big cartoon Santa on the left... Yes, it’s Christmas, but the graphics are more suited to a children’s picture book than an adult game. The soundtrack is a simple electric loop with extra bells. Santa has a range of mannerisms, including beard-stroking, waving and toe-tapping. It's oddly inappropriate.

How to play Santa is Home

1. Santa is Home is a 15-payline slot.
2. All the symbols pay left to right only on consecutive reels, starting from the far left. Only the highest win will be paid on each of the active paylines.
3. Free spins and Bonus game wins are paid in addition to standard payline wins. The Bonus and Free Spins (scatter) symbols do not pay out any wins by themselves.
4. The bet value is displayed on the shaded bar at the bottom right. Click the Bet button to open the bet options menu. Here you can use the minus and plus controls to adjust the bet per line, which is then multiplied by the 15 lines. If you prefer, you can simply click Max Bet.
5. Click the small play button with the ‘a’ on it to open the autoplay menu. You can choose between 10, 25, 50 or 75 auto spins. Free Spins

If you land 3 or more symbols anywhere on the reels, you will trigger free spins. The symbol does not award any wins itself. The more symbols you land on the reels, the higher your chance of getting more spins. Free spins are played at the same level as in the base game that triggers them. It is not possible to win more free spins during a free round.

Sticky Wilds

In free spins mode, Wild symbols will appear at random and transform into sticky wilds. These will stay on the reels for a random number of free spins and pay out like a regular wild. They will pay from the round at the end of which they appear and will cease paying out from the round in which they disappear.

Bonus Symbol

If 3 or more bonus symbols appear on reels 2, 3 or 4, they will trigger the bonus game without awarding any wins themselves. There are 2 stages. In the first stage, you pick an item. In the second stage, you press spin to rotate the wheel. Each winning item reveals a multiplier. The multipliers are multiplied together by the total bet and presented as the final win, together with any other wins from the corresponding round. It’s unclear who this is aimed at with its childish visuals and uninspired game play. The bonus game is a fairly decent effort and the RTP is pretty good, but this isn’t a Christmas to remember.
