Introduction 

Space Pals is an online slots game from the talented team at Mobilots. As you might have guessed from the name, it has a space theme, which means a fun, creative design. It's certainly a charming slot, with the only real downside being that it's a fairly slow playing slot. While this won't be a problem for most, it's bound to annoy some players. Special features include a free spins round that awards up to 10 free spins and an instant win feature that delivers a random cash prize when triggered.

Theme, Graphics & Soundtrack

There are plenty of space themed slots out there, but this one does stand out from the crowd thanks to its attractive design. It has an almost dream-like, 1970s quality, which is different to most similarly themed games. The graphics are great, and although there's not a great deal of animation, when it does feature it is done very well and seamlessly. 

The only negative here is the speed of play, but whether this is down to a design choice or limitations of the game, it doesn't hugely impact on the enjoyment of the slot. The game's soundtrack consists of futuristic style music that plays in the background at all times. There are additional sound effects whenever you land a win or trigger a special feature. All in all, a charming and well-designed slot!

Space Pals RTP and Variance

Unfortunately, at the time of writing, the game developer hasn't published the game's RTP. RTP stands for return to player and gives you an indication of the theoretical return to a user over many millions of spins. For example, if a slot's RTP was 96%, and you bet 100 coins on it, you would expect to receive 96 coins back on average. In reality, huge swings occur and you could end up with far more or far less. As this is a fixed payline slot, it's very simple to play. Here are instructions if you need them, however:

The top win from a single combo is 80x your total bet. This might not sound a huge amount, but remember that this game has 1024 win ways! Therefore, multiple wins are highly likely, especially where one or more wild symbols are involved. The smallest pay outs start at just 0.10 coins but remember, multiple wins are not only possible but highly likely in a 1024-way slot. 

Bonus Features

There are 2 bonus features here: free spins and an instant win feature. To trigger the free spins, you'll need to land 3 or more free spins scatters anywhere on the reels. Three will land you 3 free spins, 4 will get you 5, and 5 scatters will award you 10 free spins. Free spins give you the chance to land some decent wins and can be re-triggered! The other bonus feature is triggered by landing 2 or more bonus scatters anywhere on the reels. A mini-game will launch, awarding you a random cash prize at the end. 

Overall Space Pals Review
