How to play Toro Shogun

Toro Shogun has an unusual look and gameplay, which takes a bit of getting used to. Here’s a quick guide to the main game features in demo mode to get you started:

How to Win

The Toro Shogun base game starts with a five-reel, four-row game grid, but this can grow throughout the game. Wins are formed in Toro Shogun in the usual way by landing matching symbols on adjacent reels moving from left to right across the screen. 

However, if you’re lucky enough to see a win from five OAK hits, the game’s Both Ways feature is activated, giving you wins from left to right and right to left. When this happens, the winning symbols on a round will be removed from the board and replaced with new ones, including at least one wild. The reels will also expand, up to a maximum of 10 rows.

Toro Shogun Review - Our Verdict

We have to admit that we fell horns over heels for this slot. Fans of the original Toro games will love this sequel, but even if you’ve never heard of Toro before, you’ll still love this new addition to the series. The RTP rate is slightly disappointing, but the graphics and the max win potential more than compensate for this.
