How to play

Up to 7 is a Merkur game with three reels, three rows and five juicy paylines. Apart from oranges, cherries and plums, bells, 7s, stars and leaves also feature on the reels. The aim of the game is to line up as many matching combinations as you can and win lots of prizes. The most lucrative symbols to watch for include the stars, and of course the 7s for which the game is named. When the stake is increased, the payouts also go up, adding another element of interest to the game. The maximum payout for three star symbols on a payline is 400x your total wager, and for three 7s it is 600x your total wager, which could shoot up to 3,000x your total bet. Up to 7 may appear to be quite straightforward, but it has hidden, crackling depths.

Navigating the flames

Most of what you need to play Up to 7 is there on the screen for you. The green spin button is located at the base of the screen, just on the right. On its left is a handy button labelled max bet that takes you straight to the maximum wager per spin and the biggest rewards. If you want to experiment with raising and lowering the wager, you can do this in the bottom right-hand side of the screen where there are handy tabs for adjusting the bet, which is displayed in a disc between them. When you are playing at the maximum bet, the max bet button disappears. Underneath all this, your bet per spin, credits and winnings are displayed. To activate autoplay, set the auto start function in the bottom left-hand corner.

Squares of fire

After a win you get three choices - to continue, gamble by guessing the suit of the hidden card or try to climb the gamble ladder. While playing the gamble feature, you can also collect half or all of your winnings during play, if you haven’t made a wrong move and lost it all. If you climb the gamble ladder to the top, there will be a fireworks show, which is rather good fun. If you manage to fill a screen with nine matching symbols, it is as if the whole screen is on fire, and the symbols can start changing their identity - maybe to a better paying option. Then each of the different paylines will be etched in fire, and you can win payouts on all of them. This is visually spectacular and works a treat to send those winnings sky high.
