Wacky Panda Design
The game is simple yet extremely cute. The game's backdrop is a typical Chinese jungle scene, with bamboo shoots galore and a glistening waterfall. The reels are set inside a bamboo frame with the game's cartoon-like logo at the top. Like many simple three-reel slots, Wacky Panda displays the pay table on the main screen alongside the reels. This keeps things nice and simple, as you can instantly see what you've won with each spin. The music is subtle background music - no techno beats or extravagant sound effects in this game, although the music does speed up when you've got a chance at hitting a winning combo on the all-important centre payline.
There are no fancy animations or surprises here - just an old-fashioned and fun to play slots game.
Wacky Panda Symbols
As you might expect, pandas feature heavily in this cute slots game. There are five different panda symbols in total, and you'll need to land three matching ones on the game's payline in order to scoop a prize. That is unless you land the game's highest-paying panda - this symbol pays out even if just one or two land on the centre payline.
The game's lower-paying symbols are a bunch of grapes, a bunch of bananas and a watermelon. This means you've got three lower-paying symbols and five more lucrative ones. All of the symbols are designed in a cute cartoon style. The pandas are all different colours and have different accessories or features so they stand out clearly from one another, and you'll instantly know whether or not you've landed a winning combo.
Microgaming Software Systems Ltd is one of the largest and most successful providers of slots in the world. The firm is based on the Isle of Man, and its games can be found in many of the UK and Europe's leading online casinos. In fact, Microgaming is credited with launching the first ever online casino in 1994. While there are hundreds of competing casinos now - many of them operating using Microgaming software - it says a lot about the heritage and credentials of this company that it was so far ahead of its time. The brand currently has more than 600 slots and other games on offer in various online casinos, meaning most players will have come across some of its biggest titles on more than one occasion. As well as the slots the company is probably best known for, it also has plenty of other games, including video poker, roulette and the always popular blackjack.
Many of Microgaming's most successful slots offer progressive jackpots, often paying out millions of pounds to lucky punters. Mega Moolah became the record holder for paying out the largest ever progressive jackpot a few years ago. Other companies began to offer increasingly generous progressive jackpots over the years, and Mega Moolah soon lost its crown, but Microgaming again became responsible for paying out the largest jackpot more recently when one player scooped over £13 million pounds on one of its slots. Some of the most played online slots at UK casinos are Microgaming slots. Most players who've spent any time at all playing online slots will be familiar with titles such as Game of Thrones, King Tusk, Thunderstruck, Thunderstruck II, Immortal Romance and Jurassic Park. How to Play Wacky Panda
It really couldn't be simpler to play this cute slots game. There are no complex rules, no lengthy instructions to trawl through and no long-winded settings to adjust before you get started. With just a single payline, you can get started as soon as you've set up your bet. There are just two settings you can change on the main gaming screen - the bet and the coin size. Use the plus and minus buttons on either side of the displayed bet to cycle through the available bet sizes. In order to change the number of coins you bet on each payline (or on the only payline in this case), you can click on the little coin images above the paytable. Your chosen coin amount will be highlighted. That's it! That is all you need to do before you hit the spin button and get started. If you do want to make your changes in the game's settings menu, however, you can click on the menu button to the side of the reels. A pop-up window will appear with just one menu option - settings. Click on this and some simple settings options will appear. Here you can change the current coin size by clicking on the drop-down arrow and cycling through the options. You can also choose the number of coins you bet per line - remember there is just one payline in this game, however, so it's still very simple. There are only three coins-per-line options: 1, 2 and 3. When you adjust these simple settings, your total bet amount will be displayed underneath, making it easy to see where you're up to. You can also change two other settings in this pop-up menu. You can toggle the sound on or off, and you can opt to enable the quick spin feature, which simply speeds up the whole spinning process for you.
Once you're happy with your settings, return to the main screen and press the spin button. If you prefer to set up a certain number of spins, click the autoplay button. This allows you to enable the autoplay function. A small pop-up menu will appear and you'll be invited to choose 10, 25, 50 or 100 spins. The reels will keep on spinning until your set number of spins have all been used up. Wins will be credited to your balance as normal. If you want to end the autoplay function, you can do so at any time by hitting the spin button, which will have turned into the stop autoplay button. Using the autoplay feature is a great way to play such a simple slots game, as it speeds up each spin and allows you to sit back and - hopefully! - watch the wins roll in.
Wacky Panda Special Features
Perhaps unsurprisingly, given the game's simplicity, there aren't really any special features to speak of here. The game is so simple that adding special bonus features would take away the charm of this traditional slot. The closest Wacky Panda comes to having a special feature is probably the fact that the game's most lucrative symbol - the red panda with a watermelon hat - pays out any time it appears on the payline, even if it only appears once. In this respect, this symbol acts more like a scatter than a regular symbol.
Wacky Panda Pay Table
The payouts you can expect to receive depend on both your bet size and the number of coins you bet on the payline. The following pay structure refers to bets placed with just one coin per line. Bets placed using two coins per line will pay out at double the rates below, while bets placed with three coins per line will pay out at three times the rates below. The only exception to this rule is if you bet three coins per line and you land three of the highest paying panda (the red, watermelon-hat-wearing panda). If this happens, you will receive a staggering 3333 times your bet! This is by far the slot game's biggest payout, so cross your fingers that you get lucky!
1x = 10
2x = 15
3x = 1000
3x = 300
3x = 120
3x = 60
3x = 40
3x = 30
3x = 25
3x = 20
As you can see, the pay structure is extremely simple, making this game ideally suited to novice slots players. There might only be a few winning combos possible on the single payline, but the prizes are pretty generous compared to many slots with lots and lots of paylines. Any win you get on this game will be considerably more than your stake - unlike certain slots where you scoop lots of tiny wins that are far less than your original bet.
Games Like Wacky Panda
If you're a fan of Wacky Panda and fancy trying your hand at some other popular animal slots, here are a few you might enjoy. Ted online slot online is based on the hit movie Ted and is just as cute (although a little more crude!) as Wacky Panda. You'll come across some genuinely entertaining special features and a selection of great bonus rounds, including free spins and the chance to win huge prizes. Another slot that's similar to Wacky Panda is the equally charming Big Win Cat. This too has cartoon-like graphics and just three reels and three rows of symbols. Sea Hunter is another simple game with a three-by-three layout on the reels, although it does have a few more paylines than Wacky Panda. If cute, simple slots are your thing, you'll find no shortage of these types of games in any online casino or here on our site.
