Layout and Mechanics

Like most modern online slots currently available, Book of Pharaon has five reels that have three rows each, laid out in the standard 5x3 configuration. There are a total of 50 paylines which can be selected in series, with four increments, as well as a variable bet size with eight levels.

Prizes both great and small are up for grabs, awarded to those lucky players who manage to find instances of three, four or five of a kind adjacent matching symbols on an active payline. Of the game's 11 symbols, nine are just regular sorts for prize matches, and the remaining two are special, awarding wild and scatter functionality, along with the chance to win free spins.

Upper value symbols feature themed images such as burial masks and jewels, with classic playing card symbols like 'J' and 'K' for the lower value ones.

Prize Table

The most valuable regular symbol is the golden burial mask, offering large maximum prizes of 5000 credits for five. Next up is the jackal head, which awards potential top prizes of up to 2000 credits. After that come the eye and the golden scarab jewel, which both offer the same range of prizes, up to a maximum of 750 credits each.

Way down at the other end of the scale are the 'Q', 'J' and '10' symbols. The least valuable in the entire game, these all award the same range of small prizes, up to a possible total of 100 credits each.

Wild

First up among the special symbols is the wild. The wild functions as a substitute, acting in place of any regular prize symbol to make up a winning combination. The only symbol not substituted by the wild is the free games book icon.

Scatter and Free Spins

Next up is the free games symbol, represented by the book. This is a scatter that serves multiple functions, awarding both prizes and free spins. Finding three to five of these in any configuration, regardless of paylines and orientation, will award prizes of up to 200 credits, with scatter wins being multiplied by the total bet.

Players who find three more scattered symbols will also be awarded with a number of free games, played using the selected paylines and bet level of the base game spin that initially triggered them. Perhaps best of all, any win on a free spin is automatically multiplied by three!
