Cash Elevator has a great steampunk theme. It’s such an interesting aesthetic we’re surprised other slot developers don’t do down this road – but, it makes this game stand out from the pack.

What we like about this game is that it has a distinct storyline. The game is set in a haunted hotel that is occupied by a pair of ghosts – dead loves who long to be together in the afterlife.

Great Design Details

The game features beautifully designed poker rank symbols, outlined in art deco-style elements, while the high paying symbols include suitcases, keys and even a black cat sat in front of a full moon.

The look of the Cash Elevator slot is pretty gorgeous. It’s actually one of the better looking slots that have come out of this collaboration between Pragmatic Play and Reel Kingdom as most of their other games tend to be quite basic, like Return of the Dead and Ultra Burn.

How to Win

There are 20 paylines in Cash Elevator, and wins are made by landing three or more matching symbols. The hotel is the top-paying symbol, awarding a top prize of 50x while the cat and stopwatch offer 30x and 25x respectively.

In the base game, you’ll notice that there is no wild symbol. However, when you land the free spins bonus, there are two wilds that move across the reels.

Cash Elevator Feature

In this slot, you’ll find a bonus that you won’t encounter in any other games – the elevator feature. Sometimes, a symbol with an upwards or downwards arrow will appear on the reels, and it will move you up or down the floors. You can also move up by landing a win with the current lowest-paying symbol on the reel.

Going up, you can move by 1, 2, 3 or 12 floors. Going down, you can move by 1, 2 or 3 floors.

The floor you’re on will dictate which symbol is the lowest-paying symbol. This means that symbols are removed from the game as you spin the reels.

Hold and Spin Feature

When you reach the 13^th floor, you’ll be taken to the Hold and Win bonus. This is a Money Train-style feature where you collect coins on the reels. Before the game begins, you can pick from three cards to determine the number of coins that starts the round.

Dead Lovers Free Spins

When you land one of the dead lover symbols on the reels, you’ll trigger the free spins bonus. Before the round begins, you’ll be able to pick from three options for between 6 and 12 free spins. If you manage to land the bonus with both of the loves, you’ll get between 12 and 24 free spins.

The main downside of the game is its volatility level. While it’s great that the RTP is above average, the Cash Elevator slot is a very highly volatile game.
