Despite being loosely classed as animal themed, Drunk Rabbit has much more in common with comedy slots geared towards an adult audience. The bleary eyed rabbit appears on the reels clutching a pint of beer, and the nymph, also looking unsteady, wears a rather revealing costume. 

Shamrocks and stouts give everything a slightly Irish look, and the background is appealing. It’s a little blurry, but gnarled oaks, rolling countryside and a distant windmill establish a more pastoral tone. We loved the creativity of the theme. Top paying symbols are wonderfully detailed, with some great cartoon style visuals.

There isn’t much by way of music, though. Drunk Rabbit could have been improved with a suitably ribald soundtrack or even some ambient sounds, but these are all sadly absent. Nonetheless, it’s still heaps of fun with a theme that’s rarely seen and some genuine creative flair.

Drunk Rabbit is a rare find that feels wholly original, a little risqué and sometimes outright comical. The 2 main characters set the tone, and their bleary eyed expressions bring a welcome sense of levity to proceedings. 

The bonuses are much more serious, however. The chance to win 60 free rounds will be enough to entice even slot veterans onto Drunk Rabbit, and the gamble feature always throws up some agonising decisions. Choosing whether to risk your winnings is tough, and it presents players with an ongoing but exciting quandary.
