Can You Take the Heat?
Set in the searingly hot ancient Egyptian desert, Ainsworth's Hotter than Hot features the usual Egypt-inspired icons and motifs. 9-A make up the low scorers in the Base Table, followed by a Flower and an Eye of Horus.
High scorers include a piece of Treasure, a Necklace, a Bird and, right at the top, the Scatter - a Scarab Beetle which pays out £300,000 when it appears five times in a payline! The Wild is a beautiful pyramid sunset scene, and it substitutes for all but the Scatter and the King Strike. Look out for the helpful King Strike Crown Symbol too - more on that later.
Make a Bet
Bet £0.01 to £100 on one to 30 paylines for a Maximum Bet of a whopping £3000 - a much easier decision to make when you play for free! As it's a game with a progressive jackpot, the higher you bet, the bigger and faster those four jackpots will grow.
Scatter Free Spins
Three or more Scarab Scatter symbols and you are awarded 10 Free Spins. During this feature The Wild will appear on reels two, three, four and five only, and when it appears on reel five that reel stays in place for the duration of the Free Spins. An additional five Free Spins may be awarded if another three or more scatters appear anywhere on the reels during the initial feature.
King Strike Progressive Jackpots
King Strike appears only in the sixth bonus mini reel. The King Strike combines with wining paylines to trigger one of the Jackpots. In Combination with the the 9-A symbols on a winning payline with at least one substitute, the game pays out the Mini Jackpot. In combination with a Bird, Treasure, Eye or Flower symbol payline with at least one substitute, the game pays out the Midi Jackpot. This is a terrific game, albeit with a rather over-used theme. But the theme is popular for a reason, and slots folk sure do love a bit of Egyptology - especially when it comes with four progressive jackpots and a massive betting range, as this game does.
