A lot of time has clearly gone into the design of Norse Queen, with the reels set over a beautiful Scandinavian village with traditional homes and mountains visible in the background. The reels themselves are made of intricately carved wood, perfectly in keeping with the theme of the slot.

The symbols feature animals important to the village, including a goat, reindeer, and dragon, along with a chalice. The lower valued A-10 symbols have also been designed to match the rest of the slot and look like they’ve been carved out of precious gems.

The sound effects for this slot feature some atmospheric music and appropriate ‘clinks’ as the hollow wood of the reels slide into place, which we thought was a nice touch.

Overall, we really enjoyed Norse Queen. The attention to detail in the graphics is beautiful and the two different bonus games offer plenty of opportunities to win big. It did take us a few spins to get our heads around the various roles the Queen plays in this game, but it was well worth taking the time to do so.
