It took us a little while to wrap our heads around playing Nugget; however, once we did, the gameplay was straightforward. Here is a quick overview to get you started:

How to win at Nugget

Nugget is played over a huge game grid six reels wide and four rows high. There is another row above the grid, which is called the ZapReel. The game uses a ways-to-win model with a maximum of 117,649 ways to win across the board.

To win, you have to match between three and six symbols on adjacent reels from left to right across the board. The game comes with a tumble feature, so any winning symbols are removed from the board and replaced with fresh ones.

Wild West rewards

A payday symbol falling anywhere on your game grid triggers a random Wild West reward:

• HOTX Gunslinger - when the HOTX Gunslinger feature is active, it adds a win multiplier equal to the number of Gunslinger symbols on the board.
• Mystery symbols - a random number of symbols on the board will be covered with the Nugget logo and transformed into the same symbol.
• Low-paying symbol removal - an arbitrary number of low-paying symbols will be removed from the board, giving you a better chance of filling up the gaps with higher-value icons.

ZapReel

The ZapReel is an extra horizontal reel sitting above the main game grid. During the base game, it is home to regular paying symbols; however, if the HOTX Gunslinger is active, this reel will be filled with Gunslingers with win multipliers of 5x, 10x, or 15x.
