The more you win, the more cascading symbols you will see and the greater your momentum to progress through the five levels. Rather than needing paylines, winning combinations in Pharaoh’s Last Wish come in clusters of at least five symbols. Matches can connect anywhere on the grid, horizontally or vertically. The biggest possible cluster, with the highest payout potential, is 30 symbols, or 36 on the expanded grid. Every win triggers a cascade to remove and replace the winning symbols.

Level progression

You start the game at level 0, which means no features are active. Progression to the next level happens every time you reach the required number of winning symbols collected. There are five levels, available after you have collected 80, 100, 120, 140, and 180 winning symbols.

Level 1: Colossal symbols, filling a 2x2, 3x3, or 4x4 area, can appear, either partially or fully, on any spin.

Level 2: A minimum of five regular, non-pharaoh symbols are chosen for symbol destroy. Once destroyed, they are replaced with a cascade.

Level 3: Extra wilds, between three and five of them, can land anywhere except over a scatter symbol or other wilds.

Level 4: Symbol transform causes up to five low-paying symbols (even colossal symbols) to turn high-paying.

Level 5: The grid expands to 6x6.

If you are on level five and three scatters appear on the same spin, you trigger ten free spins and a win multiplier of 1x is active. If you collect fur extra scatters in the side meter, the multiplier will increase to 2x, then 5x, then 10x. Every extra four scatters award five extra spins.

Random multipliers

These are separate from the other level progression features. When the Eye of Ra appears, it is completely random and brings with it a multiplier with a minimum value of 2x. The biggest possible multiplier is 100x, which could arrive to boost your total win at any point.

Pharaoh’s Last Wish overview

Egyptian-themed slots are pretty common; however, most follow a five-reel structure with paylines rather than six reels and cluster pays as in Pharaoh’s Last Wish. Slots with expanded grids are more likely to have cascading symbols; however, the other features here, most notably the level progression sequence, are more distinct to this game.
