The symbols include some classic Egyptian sights such as camels and golden statues, as well as a mummy and the werewolf wild.

Free Spins

If 3+ wild symbols land anywhere in view on the reels, you’ll activate the free spins bonus round. In this round, the wilds that activated the round and any subsequent wilds that land during the feature will become sticky and move one position to the left with every spin. The feature ends when no further wilds are visible on the reels.

Free Spins Surprise Retrigger

If you run out of wild symbols in the free spins bonus round, the mummy guarding the temple can randomly choose to be benevolent and will cast some ancient magic onto the reels to place another wild on reel 5, guaranteeing you a minimum 5 extra free spins.

Floating Bonus

If you land 3 stacked symbols on reel 1, you’ll trigger the floating bonus. In this feature, the symbols that appeared fully stacked on reel 1 will duplicate and float matching symbols into place on one or more of the other reels.

Mummy Bonus

Triggered at random, the mummy bonus again involves the benevolence of the undead character as he will animate and send multiple matching symbols to float over the reels as they spin, dropping into place on top of whatever symbol would have otherwise fallen there. The reel spin will be a little longer during this feature, but as the mummy can drop any symbol including wilds (therefore triggering the free spins bonus) onto the reels, it’s well worth waiting for!

Conclusion

From playing Pharaohs Wild ourselves, we were really pleased with how fun and interesting the game is. With so many bonus features to trigger, including a few random bonuses, there was certainly a lot of winning potential. We do usually prefer slots with a higher RTP of 95%+, so at 94% this was a little low for us. We’re also not sure about the medium volatility rating, as we actually found the game pretty highly volatile.
