Theme and Graphics

Toro 7s the third game in a series of slots inspired by Wild Toro to celebrate the game’s 5^th anniversary. It’s part of a World Tour, where Book of Toro heads to Ancient Egypt, Wild Toro II takes us back to Spain and Toro 7s gives us a taste of Americana – similar to ELK’s Route 777 slot.

The game’s design does a great job of taking inspiration from the original Route 777 while featuring characters and elements from the Wild Toro series. It’s certainly a great looking slot that draws you in from the outset.  

Toro 7s RTP and Variance

The Toro 7s RTP is 95% - a little bit lower than the industry standard of 96%. When it comes to variance, Toro 7s is a highly volatile slot.

How to Win

Wins in ELK’s Toro 7s slot are made via Connecting Paylines. So, whenever matching symbols appear on adjacent reels, wins are paid.

The most generous symbols in the game are the 7s. The red 7s award a 10x prize, the blue 7s offer 5x and the green 7s provide 3.5x.

Nudging Respins

Whenever you land a Matador symbol, he’s not only the wild that substitutes for other symbols; he also triggers the Nudging Wild feature.  When this happens, respins are awarded as the Matador nudges his way down the reels.

The Toro symbol is a multiplier symbol that triggers the Nudging Wild, too. When this feature occurs, the same thing happens – the Toro will nudge its way down the reels until he disappears.

If you land the Matador at the same time as the Toro, the Toro will remain in place until the Matador nudges out of view.

Free Spins

When you land three bonus symbols anywhere on the reels, you’ll trigger the free spins round. During this bonus, all wins are multiplied by x5.

During this bonus, you can land the Lucky 7s feature whenever three more bonus symbols land. When this feature is triggered, you’ll be collecting 7s as the reels spin.

It’s a hold & win Money Train-style bonus where your counter (which starts at 3) resets every time you land a win. Once you’ve collected 5 green 7s on reel 1, 5 blue 7s on reel 2 and 5 red 7s on reel 3, then you’ll receive the maximum payout.

Toro 7s Slot Review

For such a simple game, Toro 7s, is pretty complicated when you make it into the bonus round. It’s not entirely clear how you land wins in hold & win respin feature where you collect 7s. All other features are fairly straightforward though.

Great Addition to the Toro Series

We like how ELK Studios has done a good job in taking features from the original Wild Toro slot and putting them into a completely different format. The nudging wilds and respins are a fun twist on the Toro Goes Wild feature, and it offers some great winning potential.
